The Class of 2000 Making a difference through the Lindley center

The Lindley Center for Student Wellness

Against a national backdrop of rising mental health concerns and increasing student demand for services on college campuses, W&L is taking action, building a state-of-the-art wellness center for a seamless, holistic healthcare experience for our students that brings together the Student Health and University Counseling centers under one roof.

Named in memory of Lindley Spaht Dodson '99, a beloved pediatrician and member of the W&L community, the center will continue an inspiring legacy — fostering student health for generations to come.

The Class of 2000 Endowment for the Lindley Center

The Class of 2000 seeks to raise $1.5 million to establish an endowment for the new Lindley Center for Student Wellness. The fund will provide sustained financial support to meet medical, programming and staffing needs in the facility.

A Message from Drew Dodson '00

The Big Picture

W&L has 11 staff members who provide care in the Health Center and five full-time therapists, with additional part-time and contracted support in the Counseling Center. The new building will offer improved patient privacy, handicapped and ambulance accessibility and resources that address today's greatest challenges to overall wellbeing.

Join Us!

We have an opportunity as a class to leave a consequential legacy on campus through the Lindley Endowment, supporting future W&L students throughout their educational journey. Make your commitment today!
